Abstract: |
Advanced Inorganic Chemistry includes recent developments on Inorganic Chemistry based on Physical Chemistry, Thermodynamic, Solid State Chemistry, Organometallic Chemistry and modern Instrumental Methods of Analysis for the characterization of materials.
The present book “Advanced Inorganic Chemistry” incorporates selected groups of the Periodic Table referring to elements of techno-economical interest, like hydrides, borides, carbides, carbonyls, non-stoichiometric oxides, gallium, lanthanides etc. It focuses on their structure, properties, production methods in industrial scale and in pure form and their different uses in recent technological applications. Furthermore, it includes advances in the bonding theories and in topics on solid state chemistry, like electrical and magnetic properties of solids and the influence of the crystallographic and electronic structure on their properties. Chapters as the semiconductors and especially the superconductors are widely presented due to the great experience on these topics. |
