Abstract:
In this book we present the development of statistical mechanics and the general procedure for the reproduction of thermodynamic results based on the intermolecular interactions. The connection to phenomenology is bridged through a statistical relation of the entropy. The method produces directly the statistical expressions depending on the equilibrium state variables.
