Abstract:
The main purpose of this chapter is to familiarize the reader with the use of statistical analysis software and programming R. The applications relate to the previous chapters of the book in order to allow the reader to apply the methodology presented in real data. Applications will concern public open data for Greece. This fact, coupled with the fact that R is open source software (http://cran.r-project.org/) allows for analysis of data from readers without any cost.
